THE QUICK, COST-EFFICIENT
SURFACE RECONSTRUCTION SYSTEM

THE PROBLEM
When major surface reconstruction is required, conventional approaches mean extensive planning, traffic delays, fleets of equipment, numerous trips to and from the construction site...in short, you face enormous costs.

TWO SOLUTIONS

IN-PLACE RECYCLING: Various pieces of equipment move as a single "train" which removes the existing pavement to a depth of 3'-4". This material is reclaimed and combined with an emulsion designed to build on the old pavement's beneficial properties. The "new " mix is then reapplied to the base, all within a matter of minutes.

Program Benefits
Process saves time (up to 66% less); equipment (up to 50% less); raw materials (up to 60% less); manpower (up to 25% less); and to/from site transportation required (up to 25% less)
On-site sampling, lab research & follow-up
Rehabilitates removed asphalt with Suit-Kote's own rejuvenating agents, virgin aggregates & high float emulsions-for immediate reapplication
Single pass, 0 to 5" depth cut eliminates potholes, cracks, ruts, heavy pavement buildup & major surface irregularities
Restores proper curb line depth, grade & major slope requirements
Variable-speed, bi-directional cutting drum prepares range of textured subsurface to enhance reapplication
Increased mobility & maneuverability of equipment
On-board dust control, mixing hopper, and automated slope, grade & depth control
Reduces segregation
Wearing Course as required

It's Applications
Ideal for urban, residential, state & county route applications
Rods marred by potholes, wheel ruts, cracks & major structural problems
Ideal for returning built-up bridge underpasses to safe clearances; also reduces dangerous dead-load materials on bridges

CENTRAL PLANT RECYCLING: This option involves transporting reclaimed material to central stockpile area for mixing. It offers most of the advantages of the In-Place system, plus:
Extra-thorough mixing of reclaimed materials, rejuvenating agents & virgin aggregates
Allows for necessary base, sub-base, or drainage work
If grind depth exceeds reapplication depth, excess materials can be re-used elsewhere
