With the help of McConnaughay Technologies, Suit-Kote has maintained an AASHTO Resource accredited Laboratory since 2000. The testing, equipment, and knowledge required to keep up with our industry has only grown over time, and we can proudly say that we have maintained our accreditation through all the changes and challenges that we have faced. We also have extensive relationships with key worldwide organizations and officials including the Asphalt Institute, AASHTO, ASTM, AEMA, AMAP, ISSA, ARRA, as well as numerous federal, state, and local agencies to keep up-to-date on changes within our industry. To ensure that we maintain accurate results, our lab participates in multiple round robin tests every year through AASHTO Resource and other asphalt refineries to ensure our equipment and staff are held to the highest standards in testing. We do this to deliver the highest-quality products available. Our 7,000 square foot laboratory has been accredited in multiple types of testing including emulsified asphalts, pavement preservation, and asphalt binder testing. Suit-Kote has multiple NETTCP Certified PG Binder Technicians, NYSHMA Density Testing Inspectors, and NYSHMA QAQC inspectors to ensure we have the staffing and experience to produce a high-quality product both in production and application. We perform most recognized tests on bituminous materials and mixtures and are uniquely equipped to help improve both the design and use of these materials.
